I have sensitive ears, will your earrings irritate my ears?
Our gold-toned ear wires are gold-filled, featuring a thick layer of 14k gold pressure bonded to a durable brass core. These pieces can be worn and treated much like solid gold, offering both elegance and resilience.
However, it's essential to note that 14k rose gold is an alloy created by blending gold, silver, copper, and zinc to achieve that exquisite blush color. For individuals with sensitive ears, there may be a chance of mild irritation when wearing 14k rose gold-filled ear wires, as they are not made of pure gold.
Our standard ear posts are made of 316L stainless steel (surgical steel) and 925 sterling silver.
Our recommended metals for sensitive skin include gold vermeil, sterling silver, and 304 stainless steel. Please note that ear posts cannot be swapped. However, for our dangle earrings, we keep 304 stainless steel ear wires readily available, which we can promptly switch out for you, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable wearing experience!
Can you do clip-ons?
Yes! I can turn any dangle earrings into clip-ons. All earrings in the MOD Collection and the Tracery Collection can be made into clip-ons. Just leave a note at check out!
